We have noticed that our partners in East Africa need support in increasing their capacity to mobilise resources – be it to raise funds from donors or to generate income from social enterprises.

First, we visited the SOS Children's Village in Chimoio. On the second day, we got the chance to get to know the organisation Girl Child Rights and their hotline "Child Speaks". Published: November 18, 2021; On the 28 and 29 of October 2021 14 technicians from 4 Partner Organisations of HORIZONT3000 in Mozambique met to learn more about “Seed Production and Commercialization for smallholders”.

Published: November 22, 2021; GROOTS Kenya initiated in partnership with HORIZONT3000 a project called “Money Power”. The project promotes and strengthens public participation of grassroots women, youth, marginalized and indigenous people in public finance management for effective service delivery and reduced social inequalities in the two counties of Muranga and Laikipia.

More than half of the refugees fled from conflicts in South Sudan and are settled in the Northern Region of the country. Frontline staffers of PALM Corps that are engaged directly in work with refugee communities share some of their key experiences.

Published: July 21, 2022; Young Africa Agri-Tech is an agricultural training centre for disadvantaged youths. We have recently put some emphasis on planting trees, as shade is badly needed. Trees also serve other useful purposes such as fruit production, sustainable land use, and biodiversity.
